Four posts affix the mount, three of which are remaining. The
mount is in Very Fine condition. The posts to attach the mounts
are 15mm in length where unbroken. Size of this mount makes it
suitable for a man's belt or harness fitting.

the acorn cup and is cross-hatched to resemble the an acorn cup.
The half representing the acorn is smoooth, plain and undecorated.
The two halves are divided by a raised band. The reverse is plain
and undecorated.

copper alloy strap fitting or belt mount of Post Medieval date
(AD 1500 to AD 1700).
