Notes: The plate is constructed with the folded sheet method, and has three rivets in situ which are complete. The plate is plain and undecorated although there are traces of white on the surface which may be enamel.

A tiny trace of belt fragment remains attached to the central rivet.

Notes: Buckle plate is contructed from a single folded rectangular piece of sheet which is slightly shaped at the fold. The ends have a slight concave . It has three piercings with two of the rivets intact. The buckle plate is plain and undecorated.

Leather belt fragment survives.

Notes: The plate is semi-circular in shape and is constructed in the folded sheet method. Small amounts of gold gilding remain. Two rivet heads remain with a third piercing for another rivet which is missing. Decorative single line around the plate.

Notes: Top plate of a medieval buckle plate.This is a Medieval buckle plate.... the buckle is missing. Four rivets remain with the central piece missing... it has a really nice fine engraved 8 petal flower made from four hearts within a circle on top... partial gilding remaining.

Ex Martins Collection. This is one of a number of metal detector finds that were found over a period of years by the late Mr Chris Martins (1947 - 2018) of Helperby Manor Estate near York in North Yorkshire on his own land.

Notes: The plate is constructed with the folded sheet method, and has four rivets in situ which are complete. The plate has several patches of gold gilding and an etched scalloped line around the edge.

Notes
: Single buckle plate which is rectangular in shape. Plate has two rows of punched lines parallel to the plate edges. Construction appears to be originally folded plate. The reverse of the buckle plate is missing. There is a singular piercing for a rivet, which is absent.

Notes: Buckle plate of folded construction. Two lines run the length of the buckle plate with cross hatching flanking both sides. There are two raised domes at the end of the plate. Two rivets are complete and in situ. The top of the plate has a circular piercing to accommodate the buckle and pin which are not present.

Notes
: The buckle plate is plain and has the faintest tracings of a border around the edges of the plate. It has two piercings. One piercing for a rivet to join the belt and the second piercing to house the buckle pin.
