Notes: Medieval English bronze mirror case complete and
with working hinge. The glass is absent but otherwise excellent
condition. This is a wonderful medieval bronze mirror case, dating
to the 13th-14th century. Both faces are decorated with punched
geometric design. The object is intact with the original working
hinge, the inside glass is missing. This example is complete which
is quite rare for these little mirrors. A good example with a
nice patina.

found in England.

Notes: Medieval English bronze mirror case complete and
with working hinge. The glass is absent. Dating to the 13th -
14th century. Both faces are decorated with punched geometric
design. The object is intact with the original hinge and pin,
although the cases are not joined.

Notes: The purse frame is incomplete but in excellent condition.
The central apeture houses a pin with large suspention loop which
has a thick collar where it buts against the purse frame arms.
One arm in complete and has a decorated knop terminus with a line
around the circumfrence of the knop and cross hatching on the knop
terminus proper. The second arm in incomplete.
From a small
collection formed in the 1980's.
