Notes: The fragment was retrieved from a strap end with rectangular two piece construction. Textile belt fragment survives. Strap end has a singular piercing with the rivet intact. Belt fragment is textile and remains unidentified at this stage but will undergo further testing. It is likely to be wool, as I would expect a higher quality strap fitting for use with a silk tablet-woven belt.
