Mathemetics, shorthand, calculus. Although the foundations of learning have become more modern, the syllabus and methods of teaching progressed, some things never change and here's proof.

Letter formation, student posture and correct pen hold illustrated in engravings. No date but consistant with early 1920's books. Includes Directions for Writing and picture of girl starting to write and finishing her writing.

	Academia. Fourth Book. Fourth Reading Book for Use In Schools by Irish National School Books William Collins, and Sons, & Company. Glasgow. n.d. Hardcover, heavily embossed with shamrock patterns. No date, looks late 1880's/early 1900s. Prose arranged by topic, Poetry arranged by title. Information of various things dispersed throughout book such as "Coastal Scenery of Ireland" with engravings of buildings such as the Bank of Ireland, Post Office & Nelson Monument and many more.
	Geometrical Drawing and Design by J. Humphrey Spanton Macmillian & Co., London. 1955 Hardcover by the Gold Medalist, Royal Society of Arts, London. B&W line drawings and some B&W photographs. Covers the use of instruments and materials and how to construct various geometric shapes including inscribed figures and foiled figures. Chapter on "Design" covers wall spacing, borders & bands and defined areas.

Third New and Revised Editon. Chapters include: "In the Rural School", "General Science", Rural Science" and "Horticultural Science" as well as the general methods of teaching of each subject. My copy has teachers notes written front and back on Salvation Army war notepaper including "The danger of illustration". No illustration.

Includes timetable of Educational Broadcasts. Includes how to set up to recieve broadcasts, many B&W cartoons, photographs and the day and topic of the broadcasts. Topics include every concievable topic of broad education.
